Kurt J. Bitting
Chief Executive Officer and Director
Mr. Bitting was named president of Ecoservices in March 2019. He joined Ecoservices, at the time a division of Rhodia, in 2006, serving as Vice President, Business Director, and Sulfur Products Manager. Mr. Bitting led transformational growth in all of Ecoservices’ product lines and played a key role in Ecoservices’ divestiture from Solvay and eventual merger with PQ Corp. Prior to joining Ecoservices, Mr. Bitting held management positions at Kinder Morgan, Inc. and Sprint Corporation. As a Captain in the U.S. Army, Mr. Bitting served as a Company Commander in the 10th Mountain Division. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Villanova University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Rider University.
Mike Feehan
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Feehan was appointed Vice President, Chief Financial Officer in August 2021. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer since May 2016. Mr. Feehan joined the Company in 2006 and from 2008 to 2016 he was Corporate Controller. Prior to this, Mr. Feehan served as Director of Finance and Corporate Controller for Radnor Holdings Corporation, and began his career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen and KPMG. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Computer Applications from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration degree from Villanova University.
Joseph S. Koscinski
Chief Administrative Officer, Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel
Mr. Koscinski became Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel in November 2015. From August 1995 to October 2015, Mr. Koscinski was an attorney in the Business Services Group of Babst, Calland, Clements and Zomnir, P.C., a law firm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he was named a shareholder in 2003, and where his corporate practice included mergers and acquisitions, real estate matters and commercial contracts. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communication from Point Park University in Pittsburgh and a Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law.
Kara Thornton
Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
Kara Thornton has a long successful career in human resource management. Prior to Ecovyst, Kara made significant contributions as the Senior Vice President of HR at Neuronetics, a prominent public medical device company based in Malvern. Her impressive career also includes pivotal HR roles at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, DSM North America, Johnson & Johnson, Bayer Healthcare, and Sankyo Pharma. At Ecovyst, Kara is responsible for leading and evolving all facets of the human resources function including recruiting, talent development, compensation and benefits, and labor relations. Kara's vision is to bolster these areas, ensuring they align with and support the company's growth and values.
George Vann
President of Ecoservices
George comes to us with 30 years of leadership experience in the Chemicals industry. He has an extensive background in leading diverse teams in a variety of areas including commercial, manufacturing and procurement. Most recently he worked at W.R. Grace and before that at BASF and Engelhard. George is a US Army veteran and has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Georgia Southern University.
Paul Whittleston
President of Catalyst Technologies
Paul has had a long and successful international career in the chemical industry, including with Allied Colloids, CIBA Specialty Chemicals, BASF Corporation, TI Fluid Systems and most recently with SI Group. He holds an MBA from the University of Bradford, an MSc in Environmental Analytical Science from Sheffield Hallam University and a BSc in Chemistry with Analytical Chemistry from the University of Huddersfield, all in the UK.
Colleen Grace Donofrio
Vice President, Environment & Sustainability
Colleen Grace Donofrio became our Vice President – Environment and Sustainability in August 2023. In this role, Mrs. Donofrio is responsible for overseeing and improving Ecovyst’s environmental compliance programs and performance and leading the Company’s robust sustainability program. Prior to joining Ecovyst, Mrs. Donofrio was a shareholder in the environmental law practice of Pittsburgh, PA.-based Babst, Calland, Clements and Zomnir, P.C., where she served as outside environmental counsel to Ecovyst and its predecessors since 2005. She holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering and a bachelor of arts in economics, each from Rutgers University, and a juris doctor from the Rutgers Camden Law School.
Sean Dineen
Vice President - Strategy and Business Development
Sean joined Ecovyst in 2023 and is responsible for spearheading the development and implementation of the company’s corporate strategy, assisting the business units with strategic initiatives and leading its inorganic growth efforts through mergers and acquisitions. Sean was previously Vice President – Corporate Development at Quaker Houghton from 2011 to 2022. Prior to joining Quaker Houghton, Sean worked in investment banking with Banc of America Securities and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and in public accounting at Price Waterhouse. Sean earned a BS in Economics from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
